Notice (“Notice,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is published by Waykode. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Notice mobile applications available on Google Play and the Apple App Store (collectively, the “Apps”), as well as any related services, features, or content. By using Notice you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the Apps:
Account information: Name, email address, and profile preferences used to create and maintain your Notice account.
Content you add: Notes, reminders, checklists, tags, timestamps, audio, images, files, preview thumbnails, and any other assets you upload. Content may also include information provided when you interact with AI-powered features.
Purchase and subscription data: Transaction identifiers, subscription tier, renewal status, and receipts provided by Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchase services. We do not receive your full payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information for the following purposes:
Authenticate you, sync your content across devices, and deliver core note-taking and reminder functionality.
Store and organize your uploaded assets so they remain available and searchable on any signed-in device.
Process purchases and provide access to paid features.
Run AI-powered features, including optional analysis of your content using OpenAI models to generate summaries, suggestions, or actions you request.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
Service providers: Trusted vendors who host, store, process payments. Key vendors include Google Firebase (cloud storage, authentication, analytics), Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchases, and OpenAI (when you choose to use AI features).
4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Your notes, images, and other assets are stored in Google Cloud via Firebase. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Apps. When you delete a note or close your account, related data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention obligations.
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
